In cooperation with our business partner – Quark, proprietary trading firm developing high-frequency trading strategies for power markets, we are currently seeking motivated candidates interested in becoming a member of our international team (PL, UK, NZ). In this role, you will work directly with end users on developing proprietary web applications and tools for processing large datasets.

Location: Krakow (remote work is an option)

 

Requirements:

• Solid knowledge and a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in programming in Java language

• Proficiency in relational database programming (MySQL)

• Ability to work in both Linux and Windows environments

• Strong analytical and mathematics skills

• Ability to communicate in English

• Experience in Eclipse plugins development, Ruby on Rails or Ruby programming will be considered a plus

 

Responsibilities:

• Architecting, coding and maintaining proprietary software

• Redesigning and improving features based on user feedback
